4th Annual Food As Medicine Symposium

Following the success of the past three Food as Medicine Symposia, the BNMC is excited to announce the fourth annual event to be held October 18th and 19th 2024 at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine. Each year the symposium brings renowned speakers from across the country to meet with our local experts to discuss the most pressing issues in the food-as-medicine space and enact change. The program aims to catalyze action and build upon existing efforts in the WNY region to improve health outcomes, reduce disparities, and advance a more equitable healthcare system and food system for all.The event has been attended by over 560 people, both in-person and online, and brings together healthcare leaders, clinicians, academics, researchers, non-profit executives, entrepreneurs, investors, policy makers, community organizers and activists, and patients with lived experience.Please note that each ticket is valid for both days of the event.
